Had a brilliant stay at Dive Timor Lorosae! The diving was amazing, the instructors awesome and everyone in between an absolute delight to meet.

Definitely would recommend a stay, a dive and a cold drink upstairs.

Thank you so much Marianne and the whole staff of DIVE Timor Lorosae for a wonderful long weekend filled with fabulous diving. Just over an hour away from Darwin but what a different world impressive mountains, beautiful beaches, nice people and the underwater world teaming with life I saw my first seahorses! Loved the drive up the coast and the highlight was probably our last dive, Marianne, with a large school of bumphead parrotfish, turtles and lots of time to explore the beautiful coral garden. I look forward to my next visit.

PS: I can also recommend the accommodation at the dive centre clean, nicely decorated room, lots of space and a great pool.

Thanks so much for the recent diving in Timor. Had a great time, with some excellent dives. Loved being able to spend loads of time playing with my camera while extremely patient staff from Dive Timor Lorosae waited for me. Particularly loved the seahorses, bumpheaded parrot fish and the dive with Marianne at The Jetty. Many thanks to your local staff who did a terrific job looking after me. Have not hesitated to recommend your accommodation to all.

Just got back to Darwin after 10 days of diving with Dive Timor Lorosae...went from having never dived to having completed my Advanced Open Water in a week with their help, and got to enjoy some excellent diving at the same time!

Timor Leste was a great place to do it in with some stunning beaches and beautiful, genuine people. I hope to get back there soon.

PS The accomodation at the Dive School / Castaways was great and cheap too!

Thanks Marianne, DM Peter and Dive Timor staff for your outstanding hospitality. Truly lovely diving and appreciated the availability of some exciting drift dives also (well at least one of us did!). Looking forward to a return visit.

Thanks to the guys @ Dive Timor Lorosae esp Mariane for being so friendly. Trip up the coast snorkling over exceptional reefs - such as asset ... colours, diversity & abundance just beautiful, we had a great day. Checking things out along the way our bus had to pull over to let a whole village pass in their Good Friday procession - it was pretty awesome!

East Timor is cool & deserving of your attention - the dive shop is a great place to start!

I have now been in Timor for a week, working for Dive Timor. The diving here is beyond belief, I was so surprised to see such a healthy underwater ecosystem. The Few dives I have done so far (dirt track - for one) rate within my top 5 dives ever. It is up there with whale sharks and mantas in Mozambique, wreck and kelp diving in Melbourne, For variety of live vibrant coral, diversity of fishes and critters make this place unbelievably special. The Dive center itself is exceptionally we run by Marrianne, I so look forward to being a part of this team. Thank you for such a warm welcome into your team. I'm sure we will have a lot of fun going forward.

Marianne, Mark & Will - Thanks so much for a great 10 days in February. The diving was awesome and after careful consideration, I reckon that Tasi Tolu IS my best dive ever. It beats stiff competition from Lembeh, the Maldives, the Similans, Malapascua, Layang Layang, Sipadan, Grand Cayman, Utila, etc. Anytime I see so many new exotic species on a single dive for my first time ever, it has to be a great dive. At Tasi Tolu, I saw my first paddle-flap scorpionfish (Rhinopias eschmeyeri), weedy scorpionfish (Rhinopias frondosa), Halimeda ghost pipefish (Solenostomus halimeda), Napolean (a.k.a. clown) snake eel (Ophichthus bonaparti)thorny seahorses (Hippocampus hystrix), and dugong (Dugong dugon) . And that does not even count the painted frogfish, ornate ghost pipefish, banded pipefish, leaf scorpionfish, octopus, numerous nudibranchs, harlequin shrimp, anemone shrimp, banded coral shrimp, razor fish and so many species for lionfish and baby scorpionfish, etc. A WORLD-CLASS DIVESITE!!

Thanks again to everyone at the shop and at the Castaway. I miss the smiles and I can't wait to go back!

My friend and I went diving with Dive Timor Lorosae over a week and stayed in their accommodation a few days. Nothing but positive reviews for them - the staff were knowledgeable, enthusiatic and safe, and Marianne made extra efforts to see that we had the best diving experience, and that our time in East Timor was enjoyable in general.

I would definitely go back to Dive Timor Lorosae again!
